INGENIERIA TORNÉ S.L. in Great Island - Irlanda
INGENIERÍA TORNÉ S.L. has signed a contract for the development of projects for industrial ventilation, air conditioning, steam, fire, and electrical, regulation, and control systems (HVAC and fire systems) for the 430 MW combined cycle plant in Great Island, County Wexford, Ireland.
The contract includes construction management for the facilities in the "Project manager on site" modality, providing an Industrial Engineer with permanent and exclusive presence on-site for control and client relations in the field.
The project covers the 10 enclosed industrial buildings that make up the plant:
- Turbine Building
- Electrical Building
- G.M.R.S. Building (Gas)
- HRSG Building (Heat Recovery Steam Generator)
- Auxiliary Steam Boiler Building (Auxiliary Steam Boiler)
- Existing Buildings
- Feedwater Pumps Building (Feedwater Pumps)
- Water Treatment Plant Building
For each of these buildings, INGENIERIA TORNÉ has designed all HVAC and fire installations, and the construction is being monitored by an Industrial Engineer with exclusive dedication on-site.
The contract also includes the design and construction control of mechanical, electrical, and communication installations for HVAC and fire systems' intercommunication between buildings. It also involves creating a centralized management system for their control, including the electrical and communication components.
