Inauguration of new IASS headquarters in the Old Courts building - Plaza del Pilar

The new headquarters of the Provincial Directorate of the Aragonese Institute of Social Services (IASS), in building A of the Old Courts of Plaza del Pilar, opened its doors to the public on March 25, 2019. The services that previously served on Paseo Rosales and the dependency that was located on Paseo María Agustín, 16, have been moved to these facilities, with a staff of between 150 and 160 employees.

Ingenieria Torne has designed and directed this project together with the Magén Arquitectos office, as a result of the competitions called by the IASS. Shortly, the 2nd phase of the rehabilitation works will begin, which will include buildings B and C of the Zaragoza Courts complex, designed by Alejandro de la Sota in 1986.
